Dr Amit Verma

Dr Amit Verma is a well-known and experienced molecular oncologist in Gurgaon, India as well as a cancer geneticist with over 15 years of professional experience. Dr Verma does not believe in the one-size-fits-all approach to cancer treatment (conventional approach) and strives to offer patients personalised treatment (precision oncology approach). He and his team rely on the scientific advancements in molecular biology and genetics of cancer and use novel approaches such as Next-Generation Sequencing-NGS and other diverse techniques in cancer genomics ranging from PCR, liquid biopsy, gene signatures, gene expression, computational biology, and tumour imaging to tailor-made treatment options.

He is considered to be among the first few molecular oncologists in India, one of the best oncologists in Gurgaon and has been recognized by various scientific forums and society for his contributions. He has been instrumental in setting up the first Personalized Cancer Medicine Clinic and the first Molecular Oncology Tumor Board in India.
